Energy Efficiency Awards

Faced with fuel poverty issues, whether inefficient heating systems or high fuel costs, Communities have responded by developing local Energy Efficient Initiatives.
 
Such initiatives may involve agencies and joint funding arrangements, local area or home heating schemes, renewable fuel sources, energy audits, as well as awareness raising programmes involving schools.
 
If you are aware of such projects, you may wish to nominate the Community concerned.
 
Nominations are welcomed from Constituted Community Groups and N.I.H.E. District Offices.
 
There will be 5 Area Winners and 1 overvall Northern Ireland Winner in the Energy Efficiency Category which is being sponsored by the Housing Executive.
