N.I.T.A.P. provides information relating to many community issues including Tenant Participation in Housing.
 
N.I.T.A.P. issues a quarterly Newsheet 'Routes' for Community Groups in N. Ireland.
 
N.I.T.A.P. provides factsheets, free of charge, to assist Group's Development.
 

DEVELOPMENTAL WORK (see Leaflet)

N.I.T.A.P. helps Tenants/Residents/Communities plan how to improve their estates, by developing an Estate Strategy in conjunction with the Northern Ireland Housing Executive and other Government and Voluntary agencies.

Groups now have the option to progress to Housing Management Co-Operatives. There is also the opportunity to pursue independent funding from Europe for Economic and Social Development.
 
 

ADVISORY SERVICE

N.I.T.A.P. advises Community Groups on:
 
  - How to get started
 
  - How to organise their meetings
 
  - Where to get help
 
  Specific advice can be given on problems identified.
 
 

POLICY ISSUES (see Leaflet)

N.I.T.A.P. assists appropriate agencies to develop policies on models of Tenant Participation suited to the needs and circumstances of Northern Ireland.
 
N.I.T.A.P. conveys to Statutory and Voluntary Providers informed views which reflect the concerns of Consumers.
