Environmental Improvements Awards

Everyone is concerned about events affecting the quality of life for themselves and their families, whether in the quality of drinking water, the air they breath, damage to local wildlife or the visual appearance of the local area.
 
Positive actions are being taken by local Communities which challenge these outcomes. They may involve recycling waste, best kept garden/estate competitions, tree planting, litter collection, or raising the attractiveness of the area through the participation of local residents and their children. If you are aware of such projects, you may wish to nominate the Community concerned.
 
Nominations are welcomed from Constituted Community Groups and N.I.H.E. District Offices.
 
There will be 5 Area Winners and 1 overall Northern Ireland Winner in the Environmental Improvement Category which is being sponsored by the Housing Executive.
